Valentine's Day

"Love is like swallowing hot chocolate before it has cooled off. It takes you by surprise at first, but keeps you warm for a long time."

Come February 14, who would not know what is so special about this date. Well, it's a date when Valentine's Day is celebrated! It's the day when lovers will be showing their affection and attention, dating over candle-lit dinners, taking a lover's night walk on the beach, lavishing bouquet of flowers and boxes of chocolates and showing affection and attention to loved ones.
Valentine's Day is also always a special day for me. It brings back sweet memories of yesterdays where keepsakes are forever treasured in my heart. Only I will know how special those memories meant to me till this day. On this present day, I normally celebrate the day with my family members by either getting together over high-tea, dining out or just relaxing at home and carrying on with our every day routines. My siblings and I don't usually exchanged cards with each other but I still do with my friends.
Nowadays, Valentine card is send virtually rather than from through the post office.
Thus, to those of you who might be receiving virtual e-cards, do take extra care to check whom the card is from before opening your email. "If you unexpectedly receive a Valentine's Day e-card, be careful." That's what the FBI is warning the world. Online Valentine cards may contain Internet worm, FBI warns.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Valentine's Day e-greetings from a stranger could deliver more than the recipient bargained for in the shape of a destructive "Trojan horse" that hijacks computers, the FBI warned Tuesday. "If you unexpectedly receive a Valentine's Day e-card, be careful," the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a statement, warning Internet users to "be on the lookout for spam emails spreading the Storm Worm malicious software (malware)."
"The Storm Worm virus has capitalized on various holidays in the last year by sending millions of emails advertising an e-card link within the text of the spam email. Valentine's Day has been identified as the next target," the FBI said. The bogus email directs the recipient to click on a link to retrieve an electronic Valentine's Day card. If the user falls for the ruse, malware will infect their computer or the device they used to connect to the Internet, and make it become part of a Storm Worm botnet, according to the FBI.
A botnet is a network of computers that, unbeknownst to their users, forward transmissions, such as spam, viruses and malware, to other computers linked to the Internet. Botnets can also be used in identity theft, the FBI warned, urging Internet users not to open Valentine's greetings from unknown senders.News Source

To every one who is celebrating Valentine Day, wishing you lots of love, happiness, kisses, hugs, flowers and CHOCOLATES too! Just beware of the "Valentine Worms".
